Privacy Policy
This policy applies to the Tonaire Backup Google OAuth application operated by Tonaire Digital Co., Ltd. The application is intended for internal infrastructure backup and recovery use only.
1. What the application does
Tonaire Backup uses Google OAuth to authorize access to a designated Google Drive account used for Tonaire Digital backup operations. The application supports scheduled backup storage, backup verification, retention, and recovery.
2. Google user data the application accesses
Depending on the permissions granted to the OAuth client and the configured backup workflow, Tonaire Backup may access Google Drive file and folder information needed to perform approved backup operations. These operations may include listing, creating, uploading, reading, updating, downloading, moving, or deleting backup files and folders as required for backup retention and recovery.
The application uses the authorized Google account only for the configured backup purpose. It does not use Google account data to build advertising profiles or for unrelated analytics.
3. How Google user data is used
Google user data is used only to:
- authenticate approved backup infrastructure to Google Drive;
- store and organize backup files;
- verify that expected backup files are present and accessible;
- apply configured backup retention operations; and
- retrieve backup files when an authorized recovery operation is required.
4. How authorization data is stored
OAuth client credentials and authorization tokens required for scheduled operations may be stored on authorized Tonaire Digital infrastructure systems. They are treated as infrastructure secrets and access is restricted to systems and administrators that require them for backup operations.
5. Sharing of Google user data
Tonaire Digital does not sell Google user data and does not share Google user data with advertisers. Google user data accessed through this application is used for Tonaire Digital's authorized backup and recovery operations.
Data may be disclosed when required by applicable law, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or when necessary to protect the security and integrity of Tonaire Digital systems.
6. Data retention and deletion
Backup files are retained according to the backup and retention configuration established for the relevant Tonaire Digital system. Files may be deleted from Google Drive when they reach the configured retention limit or when an authorized administrator removes them.
OAuth authorization may be revoked by removing the application's access from the authorized Google account or by removing the stored authorization configuration from the relevant Tonaire Digital infrastructure system.
7. Security
Access to Tonaire Backup is limited to authorized infrastructure systems and administrators. Tonaire Digital uses administrative and technical controls intended to protect credentials, authorization tokens, backup files, and related systems from unauthorized access.
8. Limited use
Tonaire Digital's use of information received from Google APIs through Tonaire Backup is limited to providing and operating the backup functionality described in this policy. Google user data is not used for advertising or for purposes unrelated to the application's backup and recovery function.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the application's data access or backup practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are published.
